Donovan Taylor

Founder & Head Teacher

The Eclectic Music Institute is led by Donovan Taylor, a highly experienced musician with an impressive 10 years of professional teaching experience in Coffs Harbour under Pinnacle tuition and in Newcastle under Novotone Studio's and The National Music Academy.  Donovan takes care of our aspiring guitarists, pianists, composers and runs our holiday workshop programs. Donovan has extended knowledge and years of industry experience in styles including Rock, Metal, Jazz, Classical, Flamenco, Blues, World music and caters to all ages.

Some of Donovan's roles and credentials include a Bachelor of Music majoring in classical guitar performance, current lead guitarist for the Heavy Metal band Plague Dweller, Temtris & Vaticide, solo classical guitar performer, Acaccia String quartet composition winner, commissioned free lance orchestral composer and a professional studio session musician
